Bread with hummus, guacamole and peanut butter

Bread

Heat up 1 cup of water to lukewarm temperature with a max of 38 degrees, it should not feel too hot to shower in. Put the water in a bowl or glass and add:

·        Add 1-2 tablespoons of yeast

·        1 teaspoon of sugar

Let it sit until it starts bubbling.


Get a big bowl and add:

·        1 bag of flour

·        Salt to taste

·        Sugar to taste

·        3 tablespoons of olive oil

Kneed for at least 10 minutes. Put away with a wet towel over it for 1,5 hours

Kneed it a second time and put it in the pan you want to put it in the oven in

Let sit for another 30 minutes or so until it looks puffy


Get a sharp knife and make some cuts on the top

Heat up the oven and put in the bread:

·        5 minutes at the highest setting

·        20 minutes at a low setting

Hummus:

·        Soak 3 cups of chickpeas overnight

·        Cook the chickpeas until soft

·        Roast ½ cup of sesame seeds


Put chickpeas and sesame seeds in the blender and add:

·        Oil

·        5 toes of garlic

·        ½ cup of lime juice

·        1 teaspoon of cumin

·        1 teaspoon of salt

·        1 teaspoon of pepper

·        Water as needed

Guacamole

Mix and mash:

·        5 avocados

·        1 onion very finely chopped

·        4 tomatoes in cubes

·        5 toes of garlic

·        1 cup of lime juice

·        Salt and pepper to taste

Peanut butter

Get a frying pan with a thick bottom, with no oil and add:

·        3 cups of peanuts


Roast the peanuts until a bit darker. Keep an eye on them and move them around a lot, they burn easily. Get a blender and add:

·        The roasted peanuts

·        Sugar to taste

·        Salt to taste

·        Sunflower oil (not olive oil)
